2. Definitions
- "Service" — The Permit.cz web application and all related features including immigration guides, checklists, document tools, AI assistant, and forms hub.
- "User" — Any individual who accesses or uses the Service, whether registered or not.
- "Registered User" — A User who has created an account on Permit.cz.
- "Pro Plan" — The paid subscription tier offering premium features.
- "Content" — All text, data, guides, checklists, AI responses, and other materials provided through the Service.
3. Description of Service
Permit.cz is an informational platform designed to help foreigners navigate Czech immigration processes. The Service provides:
- Immigration guides and checklists
- Application tracking and document management tools
- AI-powered immigration assistant
- Official forms directory with guidance
- Czech language exam preparation resources

Permit.cz provides informational guidance only and does NOT constitute legal advice. We are not a law firm, immigration consultancy, or government agency. For legally binding advice, consult a qualified Czech immigration lawyer (advokát) or the relevant Czech authorities (OAMP/MV ČR, MZV ČR).
4. User Account
4.1. To access certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address.
4.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
4.3. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must not impersonate another person or use a false identity.
4.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Free and Pro Plans
5.1 Free Plan
The Free Plan provides access to basic immigration guides, selected forms, and limited AI assistant interactions at no cost.
5.2 Pro Plan (Paid Subscription)
5.2.1. The Pro Plan is available for the price listed on the Pricing page. All prices are in Czech Koruna (CZK) and include applicable taxes.
5.2.2. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).
5.2.3. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your credit card details.
5.3 Right of Withdrawal (Právo na odstoupení od smlouvy)
Under Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (Občanský zákoník / Civil Code) §1829 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, send a clear statement to info@permit.cz. We will refund your payment within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice using the same payment method.
If you explicitly requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period and have used Pro features, you agree that the refund may be reduced proportionally for the service already provided under §1834 of the Civil Code.
6. User Content and Data
6.1. You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to Permit.cz (documents, notes, case information).
6.2. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
6.3. We do not access, review, or share your personal immigration data unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
6.4. You can export or delete your data at any time through your account settings, in accordance with your rights under GDPR (see our Privacy Policy).
7. AI Assistant Disclaimer
7.1. The AI immigration assistant is powered by artificial intelligence and provides general informational responses. It may produce inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information.
7.2. AI responses do not constitute legal advice and should never be the sole basis for immigration decisions.
7.3. Always verify AI-provided information against official Czech government sources (mvcr.cz, mzv.gov.cz, frs.gov.cz) or consult a qualified legal professional.
7.4. We are not liable for any consequences arising from actions taken based on AI assistant responses.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1. All Permit.cz content, design, code, and branding are owned by Egemen Toprak and protected by Czech and international copyright law (Czech Act No. 121/2000 Coll., Autorský zákon / Copyright Act).
8.2. Immigration guides reference publicly available information from Czech government sources. We add value through organization, translation, and contextual guidance.
8.3. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Permit.cz content without written permission.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract content from the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
- Upload malicious code or content
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
10.2. To the maximum extent permitted by Czech law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Pro Plan in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10.3. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: missed deadlines, rejected applications, or immigration decisions made based on information from the Service.
10.4. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Czech law (e.g., liability for intentional harm or gross negligence).
11. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
13.2. Any disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
13.3. Consumer dispute resolution (ADR): If you are a consumer (spotřebitel) and a dispute arises that we cannot resolve directly, you may file a complaint with the Czech Trade Inspection (Česká obchodní inspekce, ČOI):

14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
